More info on the Mustang, TX strip club battle...

Find Local Swingers Looking for a Sex Partner?

Mustang, TX - It's not much to look at: two dusty streets, a strip club, a boarded-up country western bar, one trash bin, and a dilapidated trailer park where the entire population lives.

This 75-acre town, carved from a pasture in 1973 to sell alcohol so a beer run was no longer a 60-mile drive to Dallas, is broke, withering and down to about 50 residents.

Yet even with the place in such dismal shape, two people have been fighting for a year over who effectively owns Mustang: the strip-club operator and the little-known widow of the town's co-founder.

That fight will makes Jan. 17 – when a judge is expected to decide the rightful owner and who will try to fix its financial problems – an important date in its history.

"All I want is to see Mustang on its feet again so we can pay the bills," said Gary Arnett, chief of the town's two-man volunteer fire department. "We have children here. I don't want to see the town have to relocate."

Tax revenue has fallen from about $1,500 a month to just $28 in November, generated only by the strip club. Mustang came close to losing water service this month because of a $3,400 unpaid bill.

The ownership battle is between Thomas Sinclair, who runs the Wispers Cabaret strip club and leases the shuttered Mustang Club bar, and Marsha McKie, whose late husband, William, co-founded the community. Sinclair agreed last year to buy the land from the McKies for $600,000, then filed a lawsuit alleging that they had not fulfilled all the terms of the deal.

Van rams strip club for an ATM withdrawl

Dallas Sex Partners BDSM in Dallas

DALLAS -- Police are searching for two men they say rammed a van into a strip club in an attempt to steal an ATM. Surveillance video from The Platinum Club in Dallas shows the van in the parking lot and slamming through the club's front doors.

The men can then be seen entering the club and heading for the ATM, which was bolted to the floor and to the wall. The pair quickly leave empty-handed, but the manager of the club is convinced the men will try the same thing at another location."We are hoping that by airing it they [the police] catch them and they don't do it to someone else. That's the key," said Rob Epperson, of The Platinum Club.

Water service nearly lost after closure of strip club

Mustang, TX - An unpaid bill nearly caused a supplier to shut off water service to an entire town.

Mustang’s 40 residents had faced the possibility of losing water service Monday if they didn’t find a way to pay a $3,400 bill. Someone made the payment, said Jay Mertz, president of the Angus Water Supply Corp., though he declined to identify the person, the Corsicana Daily Sun reported.

The tiny town, founded in 1972 to provide a home for alcohol sales in Navarro County, had been paying its water bill with sales tax money collected at the only two local businesses - a strip club and a bar.

But both businesses closed last year in the heat of a legal dispute stemming from the sale of the town...
