Nashville judge padlocking Club Platinum

Nashville cracked down on the adult entertainment Wednesday, as one club was padlocked, and others faced fines for violating metro ordinances.

Metro police padlocked Club Platinum following a judge's order for contempt of court. Metro's legal department says club owners did not get the right license, and so the club will be shut down until further notice.

Wednesday night, the city of Nashville cracked down on adult entertainment. It's not just two clubs closed up. A Metro board that regulates Nashville’s sexually-oriented businesses doled out fines of up to $500 to two other clubs and to dancers, for violating the city’s rules. Testimony from the Metro codes inspector described what he saw inside the clubs.
